Immediate Life Support Course (ILS) Resus Council UK - 1 Day Course

Fully accredited Resus Council ILS Course which teaches the knowledge and skills to:

• identify the causes and promote the prevention of cardiopulmonary cardiac arrest

• recognise and treat the deteriorating patient using the ABCDE approach.

• undertake the skills of quality CPR and defibrillation (manual and/or AED) and simple airway opening manoeuvres.

• utilise non technical skills to facilitate initial leadership and effective team membership.

On successful completion of the course candidates will be issued with a Resus Council UK ILS Certificate.
